The copyright is clearly described as falling into one of the following categories: (1) - the copyright to both the lyrics and the music is totally owned by Three Legged Music Limited
(2) - the music copyright is owned by Three Legged Music, but the lyrics are effectively "public domain" e.g. words written by hymn writers of long ago such as Charles Wesley and not significantly altered by one of our writers.
(3) - (this category applies to songs with lyrics written by Timothy Dudley-Smith) - the copyright to the music is owned by Three Legged Music - the copyright to the lyrics in Europe (including Great Britain and Ireland) and in Africa is owned by Timothy Dudley-Smith - the copyright to the lyrics in the rest of the world (including the U.S. and Canada) is owned by Hope Publishing Co. of the US.
